  Before starting the class, there was an assignment given. My lecturer ask to find three quantitative and three qualitative research objective and questions from any research articles:

Research Objective

- The purpose of this study is to find the used of ICT in teaching visual arts and design. Thus the objective of study are to :

i. To investigate the first impressions of the teachers and students towards the introduction 
    of tablet devices in the classroom setting.
ii. To investigate the students and teachers perceptions of on the changing teaching and   

    learning practices, and as such, contribute to the existing literature.

iii.To investigate the perceptions on the conditions that support these teaching and learning

  practices.

 Research Questions

i. How do teachers and students experience the role of the teacher following the 

   introduction of tablet devices in the classroom setting? What are, in other words, the 

   consequences for teaching practices?

ii. What are the perceptions of both teachers and students towards this change in 

  learning practices?

iii. What are the perceptions on the conditions that support these teaching and learning

  practices?

Quantitative

Research Objective

- The purpose of this study is to find the used of ICT in teaching visual arts and design. Thus the objective of study are to :

i. To  determine the  used of ICT in motivating students towards learning visual arts

   and design.

ii. To identify the potential of ICT in improving the quality of student’s artwork

iii.To  identify the effectiveness of ICT in teaching visual arts and design.

 Research Questions

i. How to motivate students in learning visual arts and design by using ICT in

   teaching?

ii. How ICT can improving the quality of student’s artwork?

iii. Does ICT effective in enhance the level of teaching visual arts and design?

  Presentation of that week was mine with topic of Correlational Research. That topic still under quantitative research design. Correlational investigates the possibility of relationships between only two variable. Besides that, there are also presentations under topic Causal-Comparative.

  As assignment, we need to find any research question, objective, hypothesis from any research articles:

1.    Experimental design

a)    Research question

i.     What is the effectiveness of using multimedia in teaching visual art 

education?

ii.    What is the special method in teaching visual art education among art 

 students?

iii.  What is the problem encountered during teaching visual art education?

b)    Objective

i. to determine the effectiveness of teaching visual art education using

multimedia

ii.  to identify appropriate teaching methods to teach visual arts education

iii. to identify problems that arise in the teaching of visual art education

c)    Hypothesis

The findings of the study are expected to contribute to the further improvement of the teaching method or towards the implementation of strategies on how to motivate students to learn visual art education.

2.    Correlational design and Causal Comparative

a) Research question

i. To what dimensions proposed by the attribution theory do the Malaysian   

                ESL students from  the  six  different public universities  attribute  their 

                 success  and failure?

ii.  Are the attributive dimensions  valid  in all six universities?

iii.   Are there features in the  attributive dimensions  that  make  the   university (universities)  stand  out?  What are possible reasons for this phenomenon?

b)  Objective

i. To examine the relationship between performance attributions and

   different university settings in the English as a Second Language (ESL)

   context.

ii.  to  explain  successes  and  failures  in  a variety of settings

c)  Hypothesis

    External factors play a vital role in moulding attributions and this is   

    particularly apparent in the case of one particular university

      Correlational Study

a.    Research Question

i.               What are the form Five Art and Science students’ attitudes towards the

      learning of English in general?

ii.              To what extent are these students influenced by intrinsic or extrinsic

      motivation in the learning of English?

iii.             What is the relationship between attitudes and motivation?

b.    Research Objective

i.         To define the form Five Art and Science students’ attitudes towards the

           learning of English in general

ii.        To analyse these students influenced by intrinsic or extrinsic motivation

                      in the learning of English

iii.        To define the relationship between attitudes and motivation

c.    Hypothesis

The better students have more positive attitudes and show greater initiatives towards learning English than the weak students.
